In deel 13 van de "10 vragen aan..." deze keer aandacht voor Brady Olsen.
1. Where and when did you start playing hockey?
I started playing hockey around age 4, outside near my parents in Enterprise Ontario.
2. What's the difference in your opinion between Canadian and Dutch hockey?
Bigger ice surface here, and the hockey seems to be less physical.
3. How did you get in contact with the Grizzlies and why did you chose for this team?
A Great guy, Henk Gobel (Assistant Coach) first contacted me. Later on, to ol pals from
Queen's University (Ben Heersink & Blake Pronk) arrived here and told me how great it is
and I was lucky enough to join the team.
4. How do you like playing here in groningen and what do you think of the city?
I am really enjoying Groningen and the team. The city is gorgeous and the people are
very friendly.
5. Your playing forward, did you always play or wanted to play in this position?
I am playing forward. I have always been a forward and mostly a left winger.
6. Besides hockey, are there other things you do here in Groningen? (Study, working, being
lazy?)
Well I hope to study/work. But right now, just getting settled and exploring the city.
7. Do you have any hobbies?
Hockey has always been my favourite passtime. But in the summer I enjoy camping, fishing,
and BBQ's.
8. Do you have a girlfriend, are you married, are you single?
I do have a wonderful girlfriend, Mel, who is a teacher in Canada.
9. What are your plans for the future?
Plans for the future are open. I would like to study further, but am also
looking for a great job.
10. Who's your favourite player?
I have a couple, but Wayne Gretzky and Steve Yzerman stick out.
